Me When I Take Too Long
This is my submission for the Dartmouth 2025 "Backathon" Game Jam. This is very much unfinished as I only had a few hours to work on this.
Original idea was that multiple mobs would spawn and you would need to pick them up and you would gain powers based on the type of enemy, however this did not end up panning out
Only implemented features are picking up a mob (left click), moving, dying, and restarting. Throwing/powers were not implemented. Majority of the ~7-8 hours spent working on this were spent making assets, mostly art and music. I never made art or music for games, so I am massively happy with how that side of things came through. Also the explosion sound effect and visuals took forever to implement for some reason.
Considering the game isn't in a playable state, I was considering not submitting, but I'd like to show off what I was able to do while accepting what I couldn't.
